     @Ronnie21093 64 gigs is just two 32 RAM sticks. He could have four in there if he wanted :shrug:
     
     I only have 32 but it's pretty normal to get two sticks even if they're 32

     @Kyonko802 :doge_laugh: when i add up everything in task management, it doesn't even add up to the amout of memory thats being used. There is like about 4gb completely unaccounted for. The windows experience sure is special.

     @RecycleBin When I was still using windows the CPU and RAM would just spike like this randomly. Never figured out what was doing it.

     @Ronnie21093 @Kyonko802 @RecycleBin I have had my anti-virus turned off since 2018 and it's done wonders for my PC's performance.
     
     You just need ublock and common sense and you'll be fine
     
     I run a Malwarebytes scan every once in a while.
     Otherwise it's not worth having AVs eating up your resources for god knows what reason

     @RecycleBin I'm trying to talk our IT guys into switching to linux because our law enforcement program has a linux version, but our jail medical program doesn't unfortunately, so we'd either have to switch to an alternative or go back to paper files for anything medical while everything else is digitized.

     @Kyonko802 it will also randomly max out the ssd. Who really knows what windows is doing in the background.
     
     I also switched to linux a while back. Unfortunately installing window on my work laptop isn't really a option.

     @Kyonko802 the company i work for fell into the microsoft convenience trap a long time ago. We are 100% dependant on their products, switching now would be a massive transition. From the normie perspective there isn't even any real benefit to using linux.
