     Genuine question. What makes some people think America isn't already fascistic? Aside from America being founded on the graves of indigenous peoples, just look at its current state of affairs: enabling #Israel's genocide in #Gaza / #Palestine, expanding the Orwellian FISA law that'd make Mussolini proud, making it more difficult for mass protests, criminalizing anti-police slogans in some states, punishing speech on college campuses, etc. It'll only get worse.
