@rainignterror1080p >Devs constantly tell players that the game panders to them >Even fired a feminist for daring to try and muddy the game >Are directly saying they won't back down and will deliver the intended experience everywhere to get the point across in case people haven't understood already >Despite numerous journo outcry >This is somehow a bad thing
@Meemoo not really? it's just that sony is desperate rn and also shift up doesn't need to bow to sony anymore since nikke made them a shit ton of money
Tomb raider's current devs have made it abundantly clear that they despise the OG games so this kind of rug-pulling was to be expected. Meanwhile shift up is the total opposite and has more leeway over sony for the sole reason of being devs of a very successful gacha game. Sony wouldn't risk losing a gacha dev especially seeing as how much microsoft is seething over Genshin still
@Meemoo@rainignterror1080p Because it is a soyny game. Don't forget Soyny fucked over a lot of smaller/midsized JP developers with their retarded censorship rules. (RIP Senran Kagura)
I assume every game especially fanservice ones with a soyny first release to be pozzed during development. People are only excited because its a soyny game that doesn't feature manjawed and/or fat ugly female protag that isn't a insufferable cunt.
I would have been less skeptical if Stellar Blade came out for PC first. I hope people are smart enough and just get the PC version even if it for modding purposes.
@hellhammer666 Speaking of which, Mr. Kim, I wanted to ask you if there were any fights with Sony Interactive Enteratainment (SIE), since they are publishing Stellar Blade [emphasis mine]. Kim: (Glances at SIE staff members in the room and laughs.) [Emphasis mine.] The people at SIE are… very, very nice! Yoko: SIE’s staff members are pulling faces I’ve never seen before. I wish the readers of this article could see it!
@Meemoo@hellhammer666 Fucking disgusting. I hate Sony so much. Probably the only reason they're letting Steller Blade slip by is because it's third party, and the devs probably wanted it to be even more racy.
