     @WashedOutGundamPilot Tfw the "holdouts" are the majority of the splitting denom yet the faggots will get the nice building while the actual congregation gets to meet at a refurbished pizza hut building.
     
     This does not seem to endear the "holdouts" to faggots.

     Cool thing about one of those holdouts: Someone caught up with the guy later in life, he’d lived alone in the islands while his buddies died one by one, re-entered postwar japan, worked at a biz firm, and later some american guy tracked down the family that had his surrendered sword to return it back to him.

     Most of the holdouts greatly disliked the americanized faggot-japan they came home to. I wonder if they’d wished they’d found a boat to keep fighting instead. (Most were taking potshots at brown-asian cops)

     @RupertvonRipp One wrote a book, would be cool to see. I think it was from the 70’s though, so it’s almost quaint today

     @RupertvonRipp @WashedOutGundamPilot Another opportunity to tell my favorite church schism story.
     
     The Huntington Street Baptist church in New London, CT schismed in the 1820s and the Universalist faggots kept the building. They then built a new building up the hill, what was at the time the largest church in town. Completed in 1843, the universalist congregation apostosized and collapsed before the end of the decade and now bankrupt was forced to sell their building to the faithful remnant of the original congregation for about ten cents on the dollar.
