     @itsfoss I would have say to have total control over the machine, but it sounds controlling and suffocating.

     But if in case this becomes a possibility in the future, I would like my Linux to create its own driver so every new device it will encounter will be at least usable to the end user. This will help the machine not rely mostly in the kernel update for a device to work. But still to make this work, device drivers should be standardized to make this a reality.
