     it's like if we were arguing about farming techniques all the time, then you finally see the salted toxic wasteland that is the 'farm' of the guy that's telling that you're literally murdering people by having too many growing seasons of tomatoes.
     
     These people talked about how traumatizing it was to see their own face in zoom meetings. Could such a movement possibly exist pre-internet?
     
     ... well, yes. Entirely by correspondence, with periodicals at the center. Interesting research for someone, there: what was the first 'online-only' insane movement, that would've obviously long self-destructed if prospective members could see the lives of existing members? Women's liberation? Something in ancient Greece?
