I know people get upset everytime D&D and warhammer adds in niggers or women or gays or gay nigger women to their lore and games and shit but honestly I think it's a natural end-stage of any piece of consumer media that gets dragged out over a long period of time, either by the creators or a fanbase. These things all get perverted in due time.
I want to say the trick is to find ways to create things that aren't "consumerism-friendly" in that kind of way. If people on /ourside/ or whatever want to have influence in that sort of vein, they're going to have to learn to make things out of passion, because I'll be the first to tell you there's little money to be found in that endeavor. In general, people just don't create anything anymore. They don't have passions or even hobbies. Nobody cares. And if you do or you want to, you're going to get beaten down and turn into a misanthropist because of it. But all we can do is keep going.
