     @VTArgyle There isn’t much of an actual exploration effort in the indie game space. Like, every indie platformer takes so much from Mario games, but you don’t see any of them resembling other influential platformers like Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, or Sly Cooper.
     
     Don’t even get me started on the amount of indies that are influenced by popular indies like Undertale.
