   Review of Fitzcarraldo.
   
   Fitzcarraldo as a movie itself portrays the ambition of Fitzcarraldo to bring an opera to the town where he lives in. That involves him trying to get capital to build an opera house by getting into the business of rubber. To get his rubber he has to either use the jungles as his road or the river. This involves him getting a ship to pass the river, near it a hostile tribe is living nearby.
   
   Fitzcarraldo can be described by one word, Faustian. He's a character with an archetype similar to the one in Goethe's story. That guy will do anything to fulfill his ambition of getting an opera playing in his town, even if it means dragging a ship through a hill.
   
   Cinematography, dialogue, characters, the story, even to the setting are all perfect. I would rate it 10/10. Definitely the best movie I've watched from Werner Herzog, the director and Klaus Kinsky, the lead actor.
