     “They confirmed the identities of the two pilots killed in the Blackhawk crash. CW3 Daniel Wadham of Joelton, TN, who had 15 years of service, and CW3 Danny Randolph of Murfreesboro, TN, who had 13 years of service.”

     Actually reminds me of the moment I realized I wouldn't trust fellow servicemembers with my life. The guy was a spic, and not one who could pass for White under any circumstances.

     @MeBigbrain @GillRigged Infamous story in those circles was a crew doing landings in a helo, coming down straight for a speed insertion and practicing over and over.

     The old guy in the right seat says “here, lemme show ya how it’s done, you aren’t being aggressive enough”

     Dude sits there in awe as the captain just drops the thing like a rock, totally stone faced from 10,000 feet, no hesitation, no reaction, just cool, calm stillness as the ground rises up to meet them. He starts wondering when the guy is gonna flare, the ground is at 3,000, now 2,000, isn’t he gonna flare? there’s no more -

     The guy wakes up in the rig as they’re strapping him to the board and asks what the hell happened, the medics sitting there tell him “yeah the cap’n’s dead, heart was stopped a while ago, too”
