   @turncoattradition agree, the danger is always there even though we barely see any actions. What helped greatly is the acting of the lead actor, Klaus Kinski. He's a fucking genius, just his presence alone is enough to move the entire men through the jungles of the Amazon.

     @MK2boogaloo The cinematography is what makes that film for me. It's always close up and never backs away. Really gives a feeling of tension that never lets up.
