Nobody even know how far out things are being affected by this yet and we won't have any remotely conclusive idea of it for at minimum several weeks. This stuff could potentially be draining down the Mississippi or spreading up into New England in the air after the retards burned it.

     @WoodshopHandman The Soviets had to make a third of Ukraine and Belarus uninhabited for the greater good, that's what happens with disasters of this scale, you can't clean it completely, you can only contain it, but any honest attempt to do so would destroy the federal government, so instead they are just letting that part of the country get super cancer.

     @Shadowman311 But for real, the government's options, practically speaking, are 1) don't go super public about it so people don't panic/riot/revolt or 2) admit that they can't clean it up and that an accident involving ang vehicle carrying certain chemicals (on which our modern society is built and dependent on, mind you) has the potential to turn huge swaths of the country into exckusion zones. So I understand their decision to choose option 1.
