     @instereo256 I've got a bunch of 5" B&W CRTs that can be run off 12v, I'm sure HDMI can shove enough current to run it

     @foone@digipres.club i was considering "what about power" but then i realized we probably should do the opposite and just route power through the video cable
     
     you're telling me HDMI can do things like 32channel audio or 4K120 but not power a 60W peak monitor/TV

     okay yeah like @instereo256 said you'd need power. So LVDS and like a power cable.

     obviously I'd use the most standard power supply cable possible: a mini-b USB cable
