@dave On one hand, I can see the benefit from keeping people under the age of 16 off of social media. But on the other hand, I don’t trust what this would end up causing.

If an ID is linked to every social media account, does that mean that I’m going to have the cops knocking on my door because I laughed at Anthony Burch’s tiny penis and he got butthurt about it?

Because that’s what happens in Britain.

If we were to implement something like this, I would greatly prefer that it would end up being something along the lines of, “I go to Walmart, show my ID, and buy a proof of age card.” I get home, crack the fucker open, and I have proof that I am of age, that I can buy with cash, and isn’t directly linked to my name.
