Let's start with the fact that's a Navy CAPTAIN.

Then we'll move on to the poor Assistant putting his hand on his shoulder. (Likely to reinforce that INSANE recoil of an M4 rifle.)

Next we'll move on to that TERRIBLE job shouldering the weapon with a full chicken wang.

We then move on to his foregrip next to his magazine.

Oh yeah, HIS FUCKING OPTIC IS BACKWARDS. BACKWARDS! THIS DUDE IS A CAPTAIN!!! (It's so funn he's literally Cap'n of the John McCain ship. 🤣)

But here's my biggest issue. This means that:
~ An armorer fitted that optic
~ The guy grabbing the Cap his weapon for the photo op didn't know it was backwards.
~ All the people involved in staging this photo didn't know it was backwards.
~ The propaganda office got a copy of this photo, cleared it, & passed it off to some lowly E2 who posted this to official Military social media.

THIS TOOK EVERY LEVEL OF FUCK UP IMAGINABLE TO HIT THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

Final thoughts: Captain is a member of the tiny reacticle gang & likely missed the ocean.
