     @branman65 @Zettour well, he *says* that, but i doubt his sincerity. if that's true he's basically admitting that he gave the people what they wanted with the first film series by complete accident and then fucked up the prequels out of spite.

     @branman65 @Zettour by all means watch them if you want to. again i feel the need to stress they're not *bad* per se, they just come across like the people who made them had never actually seen the originals. they're perfectly serviceable mid-brow scifi films in their own right but they just don't fit that well in the series in my opinion.

     @branman65 because it sucks ass for a lot of reasons. the older movies are ok and so was the expanded universe before disney declared it non-canon but the new trilogy and the tv shows are poz city.
