I have an old ThinkPad with Windows 7 on it. It’s hooked up to a router which, in turn, is NOT connected to the Internet. Every piece of equipment I get connects either to the laptop directly or to that router.

Problem solved. There are zero security problems because they have to physically break into my garage to “hack” this.
