   I want an in-story explanation for how exactly everyone thinks the Ghostbusters are fake. In Ghostbusters 2 they suggested that it was some kind of gas leak causing hallucinations.

     There's at least two other factors. A lot of the people who knew how to make good stuff got purged for the crime of being white males, John Lasseter might be one of the best examples. And I'm told we saw in Wish that Disney no longer has the competence to animate a walking horse.

     I'm told something else is also going on in Disney, they're spending obscene amounts of money to make movies, which isn't translating into basics like competent makeup, hair styling and clothing. That money is going somewhere so it would interesting to find out where.

     And of course Clown World insists on making everything ugly and evil, and very few movies avoid that fate.

     @sun yeah, i was watching trailers for new movies two days ago in the theater, it's all so unappealing and boring. deadpool 99! king kong 3000! ghost buster re-reBOOted! Disney but with gays and blacks! a 60s book movie like DUNC is sadly the most original of the bunch.

     So yea, the people who are fully protected with absolute immunity are absolutely doing illegal shit. The media’s job is to make sure you don’t notice exactly what, though.
     
     And the rest of the system protects its vital organs. Which includes child sex trafficking and drugs, yes.

     @Gab_Refugee @lain @sun Is "Child Sex Trafficking and Drugs" something Disney can spend, say, a billion or two dollars a year on?

     I'm not saying that's not happening or other crimes, just that those two categories can't possibly absorb that much money.
