     This is literally a story I just heard, too. Guy gets out of high school and takes on some cheeseball job at msoft thinking he'll be there for the summer, ends up making a career out of it

     He's now told his kid to just "do what I did"

     @WashedOutGundamPilot I'm not sure that sticking with something you enjoy long term or doing a high earning activity you hate short term changes much other than the source pool of women that you have to filter through to find a good one.
