   I just found actual working download links for the pre-alpha and before builds for Katawa shoujo
   
   These are the builds that have different routes from what is seen in the final release.
   Shizune's route in particular is wildly different in that it was originally extremely dark but got changed later on.
   Lily also used to have a dog, see image below.

     Yes, they ruined best girls(Shizune's) route in the final version and i will never ever ever fucking forgive them.

     @Goalkeeper reading details about the alpha just makes me think the final release of her route is a straight downgrade
