  @thomholwerda yeah, we will have to do that. i was wondering if somebody already knew exactly where this was enabled/disabled and/or if this was discussed before, because it feels kind of unusual for me in a FOSS environment. why not have any ads for like fediverse or other free software related things there?

  @mntmn Exactly, that's kind of what I was thinking. Should be fairly trivial to modify those things (plus perhaps a few of the about:config flags regarding Pocket, Firefox "experiments", data collection, etc., if you wanted to) for every machine shipped?
