     @MK2boogaloo @egoless Anyone paranoid about microphones in the HDD better not have a cell phone AT ALL or the whole thing is moot.
     
     Things in your home with microphones:
     
     - Cell phone and other "smart" devices
     - Laptop
     - Smart TV
     - Home automation (anything with Alexa like doorbells, Echo)
     - Security equipment (cameras, control panels)
     - Game console controllers
     - HDDs?!?!
