We all need to vent after a bad day, right? It’s the equivalent of releasing steam from a pressure cooker, it’s long been believed. Researchers at Ohio State University, however, found “not a shred of scientific evidence” to support catharsis theory, as it’s called. In fact, venting might increase anger.
