As a shit-tier hobbyist indie dev I use it to make basic reference material when Google Images doesn't work and visualizing the apple in my head isn't sufficient. The people panicking are the people who subsist on #MutualAid donations

     The thing is the bar is currently at "give a shit about your craft." People are still paying for art. Put another way I think the outrage about AI is coming mainly from guys that are in love with the idea of "being" an artist and not actually "doing" art

     @BronzeAgeHogCranker Because they now even if the AI can copy them, they have authenticity on their side, and people/companies will still hire them. The smaller artists are basically the only ones mad about it.
