You could switch to Librem 5 with PureOS, which is a libre GNU/Linux distro. Another option might be PinePhone Pro, but it requires proprietary firmware packages for some things to work.

And I don’t trust Sailfish for one bit after they scammed me on their tablet.
I have more faith in Apple’s assurances than in Google’s. After all the latter used to have “don’t be evil” in their statutes until they quietly removed it.
Also the link is to a really old article. All online services have csam scanning technology built in.
