Not sure if anyone else that plays minetest has played with the tech age modpack but ta4 move controllers are pretty cool. This morning I managed to get a 3x3 elevator shaft down 200m with a stop at -125 using a double button to call and send from each direction. Right now I'm just using the a2b/b2a commands but I think if I want to have it stop in more than 2 places I'll need to give it direct move commands, and I might need some sort of extended logic to make sure I can find the platform when you call it. Either way it's a cool and fairly easy way to build an elevator, even if it does require chemical reactors before you can make it.
