I keep thinking about these robots. If the future of infantry is being kept behind fortifications, then armor and drones might start to mimic naval battles where one fleet of tanks and drones try to destroy the other fleet before assaulting the trench. Tanks acting like capital ships, UGVs as cruisers, and drones acting as torpedo bombers.
