Late into the night is the perfect time for Luna to perform her pranks. She may even tie you up and take you with her so you can read some of the books that she was struggling with! Don't have to worry about you getting sleepy either, Luna has lots of coffee prepared.

@Iffine So Eternity Larva is some kind of god who got into the form of a fairy...
Hmm. I really wonder if she's going to cause an incident in the future.

@FruitpilledPeachcel >I do not know much about Eternity Larva
She's a very special fairy because of ZUN's strangely in-depth knowledge of many mythologies. She's based on the Tokyo god (a caterpillar) from the cult of the Tokyo god, which ended up destroyed. The official who destroyed said cult was later considered the same as Matara-jin, whom Okina was based on. This creates a strange situation where Larva isn't "just Larva," but instead an incarnation of a formerly destroyed god that is an enemy of the secret god.
This also gives some context to why Larva is in control of some forces well beyond her, like using Clownpiece's torch to manipulate seasons during the fairy manga.
For Cirno, she is very much ZUN's fun little non-main character girl. She's special, being the only fairy to govern over a part of nature representing death rather than life. Many other characters speculate on her, but give up since she's just a headstrong fairy who would never bother becoming anything more. Very good girl and easy to see why people like her.

@Iffine Cute choices! (how could it be otherwise if the subject is fairies?). I do not know much about Eternity Larva, just her appearance in the Three Fairies manga.
When it comes to the TFoL, I think I like Star Sapphire the most among them. I am not sure.
If it is about fairies in general, then I think I like Cirno the most. She is bossy, ambitious, lively. She has a protagonist's mindset. Reimu is for sure more laid-back than Cirno, but the two are somewhat similar in the role they play in their respective circles.
Cirno is to the world of fairies what Reimu is to Gensokyo in general. Some type of law enforcement or even ruler. But in the fairies' case, the only laws Cirno would enforce is "Don't mess with my igloo", which of course *certain fairies* broke.

@Iffine What's your favorite fairy out of the Three Fairies of Light?
And what's your favorote fairy overall?
-
@FruitpilledPeachcel It's tough between the three fairies, but I'd have to choose between Sunny and Luna. Overall though, Luna has a cuter look and much cuter relaxed personality, so I'd have to go with her.
Out of all the fairies? Bit of a cop out answer, but Clownpiece is such a great character. She's important to an incident, she has some important relations to 2 other characters who act as parent surrogates, she's got a really nice energetic personality, and she gets to have the unique trait of being strong because of being the rare hell fairy. Helps to also have a unique and super cute outfit.
And while not anywhere near my favorite, special mention to Larva, she's a little unpopular but her background is great. Fills a nice role in the lineup of named fairies.

@Iffine I remembered when Luna was playing the role of *just* the things that were getting killed by the Evil Old Man (Clownpiece) when they were all doing a theatric piece on the "Old Man and blooming trees" tale.
She wasn't very enthusiastic about having to be Clownpiece's victim repeatedly

@FruitpilledPeachcel Luna just isn't a very enthusiastic girl overall. Poor girl just wants to relax and sometimes have fun with pranks.
-
@FruitpilledPeachcel Not quite that strong per say. Larva was formerly thought to be a god by a cult, so she's got some possible greater power in her, but she isn't actually capable of much by herself. Worst she could do is another "incident" on the level of the Great Fairy War. As of now, as the fairies say, it's just Larva.
