Extremely common tactic to the point where there's some very fucking obvious outsider agents that crawl out of the woodwork on, for example, anti-rona/injection sites/blogs that always try to derail and disseminate kooky shit like "germ theory doesn't real" or "5G antennas are causing nanomachines to activate in your blood" or "just wait for jesus don't do anything about it on this earth"
It doesn't matter if you're 90% correct about something if someone successfully associates you with the same type of person that's 10% correct
