   It’s very cool that Bluefin have managed to get homebrew working in an rpm-ostree environment without conflicting with host paths.

   I always thought homebrew would be perfect for atomic Linux but ran into the same issues. Today, I run Rust-based CLI apps installed with cargo and/or, less favourably, Go apps. I only use a container when I have to build something from source.

   So, yeah, I’ll be keeping an eye on Bluefin. They seem to get it.

     @aral I've been running it on my laptop for the past few months. Absolutely love it.

     Prior to this I was on a plain old debian install, Bluefin has and @jorge has been my introduction to both Fedora and immutable operating systems. Hard to imagine doing it any other way now.

     @tim @jorge Yeah, once you go atomic you don’t go back ;)

     (Which is why I’m so bummed about the lack of affordable CoreOS VPS hosting.)
