     I don't write books on corporate-controlled stuff.

     I don't learn corporate-controlled stuff.

     I no longer invest time in corporate-controlled social media.

     People might laugh at me using perl for everything, but it's free and open and damn near impossible to close in.

     These were hard lessons to learn. Young Lucas didn't understand just how big the corporate trash fire is. I feel *seriously* bad for folks invested in Go.

     (And before someone sidles into my mentions to tell me how this is a bad idea: I learned my lessons with corporate-controlled languages back when Java ran in your browser. Your words are like kindling to your own roasting. Approach with caution.)
