     Serbia understands there is basically no possibility of NATO/EU being capable of strongarming them in the future, esp with Slovakia and Hungary's soft defection WRT Ukraine.
     
     The only question is when the US enforced Balkan status quo collapses, not when.

     Ukraine attrited the USA to the point where it can't support it & Israel, its theoretical ability to force a defeat in any single hotspot has been destroyed irrevocably, and the ongoing ME conflagration has begun the collapse of the shadow the of the USG as a credible threat.

     Peripheral powers like Ireland have mainstream political parties collapsing to popular sentiment on immigration. Friendly countries like the UK and Germany possess slow rolling political collapses egged on by Russia Ukraine. Sweden is seeing a slight vibe shift on immigration rhetoric.
     
     US ability to push on domestic policy in foreign countries is slipping. Russia feels comfortable doing mass illegal immigrant raids globally.
