   @DrRyanSkelton That's highly wishful thinking from somebody who desperately wants the real life version of their animized demon fox to match an ideal they wouldn't fit in reality.

   The government exorcised the area shortly after that Tamamo stone broke so a few scenarios are most likely:

   1. (The skeptics answer) There was never a demon fox, the exorcism did nothing.
   2. There was a demon fox, the exorcism worked, she shouldn't be a problem from now on.
   3. There was a demon fox, the exorcism wasn't enough, it may become a problem.

   Sorry for the unasked for rant. This has been my thesis on the Tamamo Question.
