     @coolboymew @Dad In my kind of limited teenage experience, you would get at least some smooching in before you would agree that you are 'going out'. In Japan, maybe this is completely reversed? Or is it just a trope of manga/anime?

     @coolboymew @Dad BokuYaba is still going slow, but has some pretty realistic relationship stuff in later chapters. I'm still enjoying it. The mangaka typically seem to get bored and slow way down the longer a series runs though.
