     i did an oopsie; misskey has two problematic gTLDs: “.com” and “.io”, and the pattern i wrote above only took “.com” into account

     well i mean clearly i can see the images from varish just fine

     this is just my theory (i know fuck all about any of the backends) but i think for those old posts, the old media url (with either the “.com” or the “.io”) is cached or something and didn’t get redirected properly, that’s why all the image links for posts older than a week or so are all broken.
