i ended up finally leaving a troon-infested h-game server
it's always another day that ends in y where some member of the server is acting up
they're always so tired and surprised that one of their kin calls the game "lolipedo shit" or whine about not having a "trans" section in the porn categories
they're aware of how obnoxious the type of people they are, quite literally because they have to deal with their own bullshit, but they can't see it in themselves
it's a shame i even spent a year drawing everyone's character there
it was for the happiness of those who don't know how to be happy without it being spoonfed to them
it's also a shame i expected any more from them

i personally think development is slow for what's basically a text-based game to begin with, not many new scenarios, not much to do, not much to pursue
and hey, work in progress game and all, it's not even on what anyone would consider its version 1.0.0 still, and i stopped playing 4 years ago
but there's a lot of contributors, writers, artists, and so on (not that many if any of them do much if any work when there was a request from someone to make something)
there's no good mid-game and end-game is basically maintaining what you have
it's basically loli survival runescape, except your skills will degrade over time, the big bad still hasn't been implemented fully, nor's the big dating sim with childhood friend, bully, stalker, wolf, hawk, hunter, sewer dweller, nun, farmer, and whatever new ones will come as time goes on, has yet to be implemented, all of which is in a gameplay loop to pay absurd amounts of rent that you can sidestep because consequences haven't been implemented for not
and honestly, the game is supposed to be rather hopeless and bleak from the sounds of it anyway; it's more like meeting quota than survival, considering you aren't suppose to avoid the absurd amounts of rent, the main antagonist is supposed to hold the intended main love interest hostage if you do so, among other things yet to be revealed
but last time i checked, the game basically rewards you and gives hope you can turn things around, which is going to be a real theme contrast to what i imagine the dev wants
and it's more of a dress-up simulator to most people as well
this game basically lost whatever identity it had within the years, both in what made it appeal to the original players, and probably what the original vision was for a bunch of bloat features
plus it's a pain to get certain scenarios without a guide, and really gets annoying if your luck's shit and you really don't want to be raped to unlock certain things, or have your clothes ripped apart by consecutive asshole cars and other stressors that'll cause you to pass out just getting to places to engage with scenarios that won't happen for another year, of which nothing much happens anyway until a full year cycle goes by, and it is quite a bloody long nothing
and the actual sex parts is basically the same sprite but with whatever attachments are related to the thing assaulting us, along with some flavor text that repeats basically over and over in combat that you have to learn early on to figure out what details are actually important
and of course, the community is now at its current state
now that i said it, i wondered why i stuck around as long as i did, but then again, i was only frequenting the memes section after some point in my life

@Ronnie21093 @ninja8tyu I always thought DoL was explicitly a loli game, and that warning that "all the characters depicted are 18+ years old" was played as a joke, because nothing in the game makes sense for adult characters.
Granted, I've never really paid much attention to the development of the game, and it's been years since I've last seen it, so idk how big the troon rot is.

@ninja8tyu Also, didn't the dev or some people close to him try to say that the characters were 18 or older? Which makes no sense because if that was the case, why does the player character still go to school, live in an orphanage and need a fake ID to get into certain places?

i remember joining years ago, and seems like it was about half a decade ago more accurately
the server's landscape completely changed from when i first changed, for the worse
honestly maybe the warning signs was people beginning to take the "add pronouns?" to the rape game seriously
early on, it was dismissed, because a rapist isn't going to honor your bullshit (nor will the wolves, snakes, cats, night demons, dolphins, parasites, slimes, etc), but sometime afterwards it became a tba feature
and i've seen plenty of people notice that some of the content that implied or explicitly stated the player was underaged was quietly removed, and anyone who pointed it out was also silently removed for "calling the game a lolipedo game" or something along the lines of that
i'm also not sure why the server became an official partner with discord considering the game's material to begin with
only thing valuable to take from the entire five year experience was probably that troons, niggers, and kikes slowly infest the community, then when it gets too big to moderate for the initial team, apply to be a mod, and because most people are too lazy to mod, don't have a desire for that power, and/or don't want that responsibility put on them, eventually they're take over positions of power and change the landscape to be inhospitable to all but their kin, and the rest plays out like known patterns

@ninja8tyu Ah. Yeah, I left that server for the reason that the developer was starting to throw his original audience under the bus. :reimu_sigh:
It's sad too because there is an extremely small amount of hentai games like that out there.
