     Yeah, sure thing faggo but I'm building my AR's for my grandson - and you know what they don't have a lot of in 2073 AD? Free calories and easily sourced proteins.

     There's a point to both sides, I just like to remind people that the actual ones to wield our toys in anger one day are somewhat likely to be tired, underfed, exhausted, shaky, and without a living optometrist for 100 miles. There's something to value in simplicity, robustness, and light weight where you can get it. The next century could be bumpy.

     (this mindset is the same one that gets me in arguments about ABS on commuter bikes. I use a much less competent theoretical operator in my own designs & plans than others.)
