We have mostly kept the kids away from sugar and junk food but sadly, they are being exposed to other families and their sickening daily sugar rituals.
Daughter decided to try out her manipulator skills because I wouldn't buy her Oreo Cakesters.
She said "But Sara's parents let her eat whatever she wants."
I said "That's because Sara's parents don't care if she turns out fat and miserable."

Apparently daughter repeated my comment to Sara today, and wifey took them over there to commiserate about what an insufferable asshole I am.

I will not apologize.
I have done nothing wrong.

And maybe Sara's parents will decide not to raise an ill-tempered ham-beast.
