@romin Trudeau and Blackrock happened
Toronto was already a shithole with million dollar houses, unaffordable apartment, etc. but with the century or whatever it's called initiative by Blackrock that attempts to add like 100 millions people in 100 years, we're being flooded to hell with immigrants who has nowhere to go, I keep seeing posts around subs of people seeing random immigrants just loitering around
Half of this is Toronto being a fucking California level of shit hole with the dumbasses being "Diversity is good :)))" except it's now "Diversity is good :(((" and they're fucking themselves over it
The federal told us they aren't gonna cut immigrations, while Québec is being flooded to hell and public services are currently on the verge of imploding and Trudeau said "Nope, no more immigration control nor federal help :)))"
Québec separatism cannot come soon enough

@coolboymew @romin Do you think it's un-fixable? i.e. if Trudeau's government is voted out next election and Pierre Polievre gets elected Prime Minister do you think they can even recover? :blobthinking:
-
@Pendragon @romin the issue is that all of the problems is going to take decades to fix and nobody wants to be the one to do it
Polièvre is probably going to cut the immigration, but y'know, the Conservatives, it's probably not gonna be cut completely or have a big plan to fix this shit
My only hope with Polièvre as a Prime Minister is that it's going to scare the shitlib into separatism
-
@coolboymew >scare the shitlib into separatism
Oho -- do you think that's actually likely? I remember back in the 90's(?) there was quite a push for independence that failed ..Do you think that's more likely now? :blobthinking:
-
Will an independent Quebec be better?
I remember thinking that about Scotland then I realized they were some of the most obtusely leftist mother fuckers in the UK. If that continued after independence but with no England, Wales and Ulster to check it they'd be even worse.
-
@Pendragon
It's very likely
The CAQ (second party in the chart) has been in power for a while and they're currently starting to be really unpopular and fucking shit up, on top of the issue with Trudeau right now, which is not helping them
The Parti Québécois is almost projected to have a majority. Québec Solidaire (3rd one) has also started going hard into independence, so we only need both of them to work together and we have our referendum
Pollièvre being elected would scare the shitlib into independance I think
-
@Silverwolf @romin no fucking clue, but the Federal are currently complete retards that just keeps fucking things up right now
-
@coolboymew
Better or not, you'd be dealing with one less level of fuckups.
@Silverwolf @romin
-
@leyonhjelm @Silverwolf @romin exactly, and a level of fuck up that's much closer
-
I know that the interior of Canada isn't much different from their great plains and rocky mountain counterparts in the US but they hardly balance out Vancouver, Toronto and Ontario the way the south and their counterparts in the US do. I don't think Quebec goes as far left as the Scottish, so it is still worth a shot.
-
@coolboymew @romin I was in toronto back in 2014 and there were still some affordable homes, that's all gone in the last decade and it's just street shitters and hyper violent niggers absolutely everywhere.
never clued in you were a quebecois, Quebec leaving would free up transfer payments to my home province (or the upper half of the province will go with you)
-
@Silverwolf @coolboymew @romin Either case it would be a win: if Scotland ends up being the main source of libshittery, then the rest of the country can get a respite; if it's the opposite then 1000 years of Scottish + kilt supremacy. Same with Quebec.
-
@coolboymew oh wow!
-
Scotland and if it is Quebec isn't the only source. Most of it comes from the the highly urbanized areas, it just helps push it over. Like Oregon, Colorado, Minnesota, etc. in the US, all of which are inexplicably fairly left.
