     @manoj @andy If they did that, they’d lose all their investors because they’d seriously limit their potential for growth. That’s not how the VC game goes.

     @aral @andy True. I wonder if they made a few features premium-tier, would people be willing to pay for a browser?

     RAM usage is still a major concern.

     @manoj @andy 9 times out of 10, the monetisation strategy is violating your privacy and exploiting you and your data for profit. (It’s also usually the monetisation strategy of the remaining 1 time of out 10.)

     Hence surveillance capitalism (or, just capitalism, the Silicon Valley model, or – as I call it – “people farming.”)

     @aral @andy Hmm.. It’s a bit worrying that a company that raises VC money does not have a monetization strategy. Or, maybe I’m not aware..
