   @cstross when I got briefly hired at Google, for the first week my desktop had no internet because they'd run out of ethernet ports in that office, and it took a while to figure out how to fix that.

   They couldn't even figure out WIRED internet!

     Having an office with barely working Wi-Fi sure is awkward for a company pushing a "return to office" plan that includes at least three days a week at Google's Wi-Fi desert.
