     @lanodan I remember saying about it that it was nice that we had a "talky" anime like that that wasn't a fucking Monogatari clone (because you aren't beating Monogatari, it just ain't happening)

     Also skimmed through the volumes right after the anime left off and yeah, it's going to get nice (not sure how talky it'll be though, that's hard to guess), I wonder how many volumes they'll adapt.

     As for Monogatari clone, I'm thinking of Bunny girl senpai and The Detective is Dead, especially the former, just felt like budget Monogatari, while the latter had more of a twist to it, but yeah
     
     It's especially "offensive" because you're not beating Nishiosin on his own turf, Nishiosin is basically a master of that style and it's already been animated to perfection pretty much

     @coolboymew I feel like I'd need a chart there…
     I can see how Monogatari is talky to an extreme as even the fights are basically filler for talking.
     But at the same time I feel like the vast majority of animes are talky (specially slice of life stuff).
     I feel like the ones who aren't is stuff like .hack//Sign (nearly pure ambience) and Redline (there's talks but they're pretty much background).
