   I wonder if there are any fantasy stories with magic or advanced scifi, such that trans people don't exist because body modding is trivial and basically a significant portion of the population has had some major remodeling done to them.
   By that point it's basically like saying you're transchroma for wanting your hair dyed. I'd like to see the societal implications of a world where that's just not special anymore.

     @Paradox I do believe I have a follower who's writing such a book.

     Also the elves in The Inheritance Cycle are stated to find body-modding trivial through their mastery of The Ancient Language, though there's no mention of how it relates to elven gender.
