   @sneeden @a7 Speaking of, Artix has recently discontinued its Universe repo and moved all its packages to Extra. Meaninng it now has Sneedacity in default official repos.

     @a7 back when than happened, another fork Sneedacity was born on 4chan (@parker@pl.psion.co used to host the website for it), leading to some slight drama about the true heir of Audacity. So the guy running the Tenacity repo started crying about 4chan harrassing him, at one point he said some guy broke into his house and attacked him with a knife.
     
     Last thing I knew is that the Tenacity dude said (he was in talks with Amolith) that he was stepping down and I haven't heard anything after that.

     @sneeden@iddqd.social i remember tenacity and something about audacity selling user data, but i dont remember anything after that or anyone actually switching from using audacity.

     Remember the guy in charge of the fork allegedly getting assaulted in his own house and him filling a police report?
     
     What was the aftermath? Does anyone know?
