     @elftummy @Tadano There really isn't any single family sit down restaurants that you see in Anime where I live, it's all corporate franchises and I don't think that will change anytime soon. The car culture just doesn't allow for walking in and sitting down to be as natural as zooming around a drive through.
     There's also people who just order online and delivery service that I think is currently replacing the old tradition of sit in's.

     @elftummy What sort of places do they run, and what are the main sources of misery in running them? I'm assuming the usual sort of suspect is a large factor.

     @Tadano I know someone who runs a few successful sit-down places and one who owns a successful fast food place.
     One big factor to hatred is that it's constant work, mainly stemming from constant overturning workforce of NPCs who always want too much money for too little work

     @Tadano that's a good question. I'm not entirely sure. I haven't run a restaurant before but I have friends who do and they hate it
