     @TactlessWookie @TrevorGoodchild If you track real goods in FRNs (Federal Reserve Notes of debt) vs cost of gold in FRNs over the decades it's about a wash. Example I saw was a decent steel frame handgun (eg 1911). Compare 1980 to now. Same amount of gold to buy the gun as back in 1980.
