Somebody is convincing these big studios to hire her little retard circus on these big games and I really doubt they're all just organically doing it because they think it will make money (it's an additional cost, after all).

Naturally but I don't understand how a big company like Square Enix allows their American side to make that choice and fuck up the final product to nobody's shock. How does it even happen more than once? Do the people doing the analysis about why a game flopped dishonestly pinning it on other factors? That's the only thing I can think of that makes sense.

@c @Royper if I had to take a stab at it, I’d say that there are a lot of true believers that have been pushed/wormed their way into these western developers/branches. So being part of a cult they’ll never admit they fucked up
