@newt I think many people now don't think of marxist as an actual economist who tried to prove things with equations, they just think he was a philosopher / activist. but things like his theory of value or his thoughts about exploitation was something that he tried to quantify and put into equations, which of course made it possible to prove them wrong, so i guess that's why this part of his work isn't as popular anymore.
