   i ended up composing a remix? recomposition? of the "twinkle twinkle little star"/"mary had a little lamb"/"alphabet song" piece, also known as "Ah! vous dirai-je, maman"
   
   i messed around with two instruments, but i wasn't sure how to play around with the notes more
   
   because i was basing it on tenma's vocals (file below), i kept my mix more simple than anything
   
   honestly, mozart is a fucking god for composing 12 variations of the damn thing and making it sound the same yet different

     @ninja8tyu shouldn't be that hard, just stick to the same tonic notes, and melodic phrase and progression and add different rhythm, and passing notes. Not gonna sound great but it'll be different. You can even switch up the key.

     @ninja8tyu yeah, being limited by vocals forces a certain rhythm+tempo unless you can do some melodyne magic I haven't learnt yet.
     Think of those Anime MAD's. They pitch shift the vocals to match the song.

     @gentooP i mean, i never took a music theory class.
     
     i only ever learned to read music sheets (forgotten, relearned) and to play from them, never how to compose music of any sort
     
     and i could probably remix it, but being limited to it being based on the vocals and supporting them is rather new and hard
