   Turkey deports over 900 more refugees to areas occupied by its auxiliaries in northern Syria, forcing hundreds of people under the control of e.g. a faction that was mostly a spin-off of regional al-Qaeda but rebranded for PR-purposes.

   "Turkey continues daily forced deportation of hundreds of Syrian refugees through these border crossings. In December 2023, over 15,000 refugees were deported."

   This is a continuation of the election promise Erdoğan publicly made to the third placing candidate from the Fascist MHP in order to get that candidate's endorsement in the final round of the latest presidential election, to deport all Syrian refugees out of Turkey,
   which was an easy promise for Erdoğan to make, as there already was an established practice of forcibly deporting refugees originating in southern Syria from Turkey to Turkey-occupied areas in northern Syria to replace those that Turkey's invasion had and continues to displace, for the purpose of demographic change against the Assyrian/Syriac, Kurdish, etc peoples.

     Turkey just during February deported over 18000 refugees to areas controlled by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, which is a merger of groups dominated by the former regional al-Qaeda.
